All foreign nationals must obtain a visa to enter Nepal. A Nepalese visa can be obtained either before arrival at a Nepalese embassy abroad or at the airport in Kathmandu. But on arrival, to apply visa to enter Nepal, nationals from Afghanistan, Iraq, Cameroon, Ghana, Somalia, Swaziland, Palestine, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Liberia cannot obtain Nepalese visas. Nepal Visa can also be obtained at Nepalese border entry points. A valid passport for at least six months, a recent digital photograph (size: 1.5 “x 1.5”) and the following payments, either in cash dollars or the equivalent local currency, are required:
